वैशाली में गंगा नदी से मछली मारने को लेकर दो पक्षों में जमकर मारपीट हुई, जिसमें एक युवक की मौत हो गई। इस घटना में तीन लोग घायल हो गए, जिसका पटना पीएमसीएच में चल रहा है। घटना जिले के राघोपुर प्रखंड के रूस्तमपुर थाना क्षेत्र के सुकुमारपुर गांव की है। मृतक की पहचान हाजीपुर के गंगा ब्रिज थाना क्षेत्र के छौकिया लगनदेव महतो के पुत्र प्रमोद महतो (35) के रूप में की गई है। वहीं गंगा ब्रिज थाना क्षेत्र के छौकिया निवासी मणि महतो के पुत्र शिवजी महतो, शिवजी महतो के पुत्र सचिन कुमार, शिवजी महतो के पुत्र विजिंदर कुमार अस्पताल में इलाजरत हैं।
Criminals beat him up for protesting against asking for fish
Regarding the incident, the family members of the deceased say that some people were fishing. Then four unknown criminals reached there and started demanding fish. But the deceased said that he would give them food after eating, after which the miscreants beat him badly. In this incident, one person died on the spot, while three people were seriously injured. All of them ran away and went to the sand in the middle of the Ganga. But the attackers chased them by boat and caught them all and started beating them all. The family members said that the criminals beat Pramod Mahato so much by drowning him in the Ganga river that he died on the spot. Three other people with him were badly injured due to the beating, who have been admitted to PMCH by the police for treatment.
Police engaged in investigation
There has been a dispute regarding the incident regarding the station house officer of Rustampur police station Amardeep Kumar Machhli. One person died in this incident, while three people are injured. At present, all of them are undergoing treatment at PMCH, Patna. Police is conducting raids to catch the accused.
